Our vision
Stunt becomes a platform for New Work in the Lippe region.
We want to create a place - both physically and digitally - where people and companies can come together, ideas can emerge and work can become prime time. We also want to support, promote and celebrate founders, makers and entrepreneurs from the region.
Our story
Three guys from Detmold working from home, frustrated by the same old environment, lack of interaction and sometimes screaming children, found Stunt 1.0 - Detmold's first coworking space - within 50 days (from the initial idea to the opening) in a building that is to be demolished six months later. Crazy? No, but probably a small stunt.
Planned as a test balloon, low budget and following the lean startup method (build, measure, learn), it was learned in a very short time what is needed in a small town like Detmold (in contrast to the role models from Berlin, London or Barcelona).
With a rucksack full of experience, an office floor in Detmold's pedestrian zone that had been vacant for some time was turned back into a shell over a weekend and then completely redesigned over the next two months.
The new location, Stunt 2.0, was opened at the beginning of April after a night-time move through the pedestrian zone.
Today, motivated people from a wide range of industries work in the charming loft floor every day. As Detmold's first coworking space, Stunt is now an integral part of the city center.
